Ice Machines are used in every industry. Bars, restaurants, hotels, and ice production factories. Even they just sounded like just an ice machine whose sole purpose is to generate ice. These machines can go very complicated sometimes when it comes down to troubleshooting. All the modern ice machines coming down into the market are way more complex than before because of the ingenuity used within. Ice machines most of the time has remote condensing units which can be either air cooled or water cooled or can be either an indoor or outdoor unit depending on the scenario. Now the way these machines work is they use a process called an adiabatic process. There is a sump pump attached to the bottom of the ice machine body basically which feeds the water to the ice tray. Now as soon as the water falls over the tray, because of the refrigeration cycle inside. Water freezes up and becomes ice. As soon as that happens, a solenoid valve energies and reverses the flow of refrigerant and the refrigerant bypasses straight from the compressor to the evaporator without going into the condenser. It forces the ice cubes out of the tray with help of the piston. That’s how the ice falls into the bin underneath and when it detects that the bin is full it stops the refrigerant cycle until the next cycle is required.  Unlike all other freezers, they go bad from time to time and need to be properly taken care of. We at DHVAC HEATING, REFRIGERATION, APPLIANCES, AND AIRCONDITIONING SYSTEMS do full supply, maintenance, servicing, and installations of ice machines for all kinds of supermarkets, commercial and industrial needs. If you have a business where you needed to get the servicing done for an ice machine or even in need of new installation.
